“Access Johnson is the business club for SELF-IDENTIFIED NEURODIVERSE AND DISABLED STUDENTS AND THEIR ADVOCATES.”
At Johnson, we believe that we will be our best when we work together. This creates an accepting and supportive community, but we realize that people with disabilities and neurodiversities have unique needs. That’s why we created Access Johnson.
Getting an MBA can be daunting. Choosing a program, moving to a new city, and adapting to being a full-time student is challenging for anyone and it can be even more so for a person with a disability or neurodiversity. We are here to assist prospective students as they consider Cornell Johnson. We promise to provide an honest viewpoint on life in Ithaca, access to resources, and help along the way as you decide to pursue an MBA.
Access Johnson is a group by students, for students. As a new group, we have the opportunity to shape the objectives and experience for the future classes at Johnson. We are dedicated to building an organization that is driven by what members think is important. With this in mind, our objective is to have open, supportive discussions with any person who would like to be involved, whether you are a person with a disability or neurodiversity, have a family member or loved one with a disability, or want to learn more as an Advocate.
WAYS TO JOIN
Johnson students are invited to self-identify as a person with a disability and/or neurodiversity or as an active advocate through their membership selection. This helps Access Johnson and Johnson's Office of Diversity and Inclusion identify and communicate directly with those individuals that publicly identify. Selfidentification is optional. For individuals who want to get involved with Access Johnson but would not like to self-identify, we invite you to select the Advocate membership option.
